Donate in person

You can donate in office with cash or cheque at 581 12th Street in Hanover Ontario.

Donate food

You can donate non-perishable food items to support the food bank. Items like pasta and sauce, crackers, cereal, canned goods, just and water foods are always in need.

Donate to the Thrift Store

Do you have items that you own that you no longer need but still have use. Donate them to the Thrift Store. All profits from the Thrift Store go to support The Salvation Army Church and Community Services in Hanover.

Donate from your business

Do you own your own business and are looking for ways to help your community? It does not need to be a monetary donation. It can be somehitng you make (food or personal care supplies), a service you offer (carpentry, tax preperation), or supplies that you have access to that we could use.

We accept a variety of items to support our programs. Donations can be dropped off during designated hours.
Items we accept:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Art supplies
  • Musical instruments
  • Clothing (new or gently used)
  • Books and school supplies
  • Household essentials

Drop-off hours:

  • Mon-Thur: 10AM-4PM
  • Sat: 12PM-3PM
