Jennifer and Major Wendy receded a cheque for $3000,00 from Becca and ?? from Springhills Fish fishing derby
The interesting storey behind the donation. After Brad Sprague passed away the family created the Brad Sprague Charity Fishing Derby with all the proceeds to go to the Salvation Army’s Food Bank . They plan to make this Derby and annual event.
We ended up raising over $3,000 for the food bank through the fishing derby. There were approximately 400 people that attended the derby over the course of 2 days and 3 seperate derbys.
Brad’s son Josh manned the BBQ cooking; burgers, hotdogs and pickerel burgers. There was a prize wheel that every kid got to spin to win a prize.
We are hoping to make this an annual event so we can support the food bank in Brad’s name every year.
